Support Engineer (Linux)

Job Description

•Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers
•Applying upgrades and patches to operating systems and standard software
•Health monitoring and tuning servers to achieve optimum performance levels
•Maintaining operating system, hardware and software configuration records.
•Good communication skills
•Responding to customer queries based on their priority and urgency levels daily by identifying their cause and providing an appropriate solution.
•Working with internal departments when issues are identified and following up to ensure a quick resolution.
•Delivering excellent first line support for Customers.
•Shift – will be required to work in shifts and on weekends. 5-day week but including weekends and night shifts
